Remodeling in Chandler
Chandler grew quickly through the 1990s and 2000s, and many of its homes — in master-planned communities such as Ocotillo, Fulton Ranch and Andersen Springs — are now ready for their first major update: kitchens opened to the family room, primary baths with walk-in showers, and finishes that replace the original builder grade. Chandler also has condos and townhomes where a well-planned remodel makes a small footprint work much harder.
Permits, HOAs and ADUs in Chandler
Remodels that change structure, plumbing or electrical go through the City of Chandler’s Development Services; we handle the permits and inspections. HOAs in master-planned communities mainly review exterior changes, but most also set rules for contractors, parking and work hours. Chandler is covered by Arizona’s 2024 ADU law. See the permits & HOA guide.
